One of our goals with this blog is to make sure that you are always up to date with the latest upgrades and redesigns with all Kia models.

With that in mind, we are going to look ahead to the 2020 model year and let you know what to expect from each and every model in the Kia U.S. line-up.

So, let’s get right to it.

Kia models in 2020

2020 Kia Rio

The Kia Rio subcompact will remain unchanged for the 2020 model year. Both the 4-door sedan and the 5-door hatchback models will continue to serve as the entry-level vehicle for Kia in the United States.

2020 Kia Seltos

This is perhaps the most exciting of all the models given that the 2020 Kia Seltos is all-new. With a great design and AWD availability, the Seltos compact SUV is going to give the Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3 a run for their money. Seltos EV will also be launched in 2020.

2020 Kia Soul

This model is already available, but you may not all be aware of the makeover the Soul received for the 2020 model year. There are now 3 variants on sale, the Soul EV, standard 5-door hatchback, and more rugged-looking crossover.

2020 Kia Forte

The Forte compact sedan underwent a huge makeover last year, so don’t expect anything new in the looks department this year. U.S. drivers can expect a cool looking 2020 Forte GT shortly.

2020 Kia Optima

It will be one more year before we see any changes to the popular midsize sedan. The 2020 model year brings it current lifecycle to an end, which means that all the major changes will arrive with the 2021 model year.

2020 Kia Cadenza

It’s the middle of the cycle for the 2020 Kia Cadenza, which means that it will get a bit of a facelift inside and out. A new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission will also be added.

2020 Kia Stinger

While there are no changes expected for the Stinger this model year, we can expect an even sportier GTS model to launch. Better ride and handling will be delivered, as well as some really cool sporty accessories.

2020 Kia Sorento SUV

If you follow this blog regularly, you will almost certainly have seen the spy shots of the upcoming model makeover. Unfortunately, the new look will not arrive until the 2021 model year, with a plug-in hybrid model also being made available.

2020 Kia Sportage SUV

It’s mid-cycle time for the Sportage, which means some small styling tweaks, as well as a few mechanical upgrades. The latest infotainment and safety technology can also be found in the 2020 model.

2020 Kia Sedona minivan

While the trim levels and features may seem some minor changes, do not expect any mechanical or design tweaks on the 2020 model.

Kia Xceed crossover

This is a European exclusive model, and the Ceed family will get a new member for the 2020 model year. That will be the crossover Kia Xceed, which is based on the 5-door hatchback model. Expect a more aggressive look and higher ground clearance for a vehicle designed to go off road. We may also see AWD with the Xceed.

Stay tuned for more news about the future 2020 Kia models!
