Exclusive Kia spy shots; 2010 Kia cee’d to feature a refreshed interior and updated exterior. Official debut scheduled for September 15th!
As we are getting closer to release date of Kia cee’d facelift (scheduled for September) we also get more images popping up to the web. Two days ago, automotive media released a handful of Kia cee’d spy shots, which has been spied “shakedown” testing on the very famous Nurburgring in Germany, while today, we are bringing you the very first set of spy shots revealing the revised interior of the 2010 Kia ceed!
It was previously thought the 2010 Kia cee’d will only receive updates made to the exterior, but we can now prove that cee’d’s interior is also going to benefit from styling tweaks and updates.
Interior of the revised Kia cee’d gains a silver accentuated, leather-wrapped, steering-wheel which features a myriad of audio control buttons. It also gets updated gauges and revised center stack with new audio unit.
The 2010 Kia cee’d will be officially unveiled at the upcoming 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show in September and will go on sale in Europe by the end of the year. Thanks for the pics Aidem!

any 6 spd manuals or 6 spd autos?
Yest Tony, cee’d will have a six speed manual tranny in combination with 1.6L diesel engine. As of now, the six speed manual tranny was only available with 2.0L diesel – at least here in Slovenia.

having the Ceed/ProCeed/CeedSW
or
having the Forte/Forte Koup and upcoming Forte hatch
compared to the Forte/Ceed it looks a lot better – less of the silver trim is good
wasn’t all that impressed with the thin hollow sounding plastic on the Forte
not as nice as Kia’s Sorrento XM interior… I think that’s really a step above many SUVs even the Hyundai Santa Fe/Vera Cruz thing.

I thought the steering wheel on the original looked great but the new one looks HOT =P
That’s a strange steering wheel, I hope the final design isn’t like that (“flat”, without ledder)
I love the originality of the steering wheel and the shift lever looks great too… This facelift is going to be something special…

i prefer the steering wheel tht Kia is using for their other small cars (Soul, Forte etc.). it could be another one of Kia’s signature designs like the H-grille
