Previous generation model has been offered with three different trims in the United States. U.S. (Base, Plus and Exclaim).

The new generation Kia Soul, when it first appeared in US, came available with no less than 7 unique trim levels offering consumers even more choice.

However, for the 2023 model year, Kia USA simplified the Soul trim level range by dropping several of them. The 2023 Soul now offers a total of 4 unique trims. Those are:

Base Kia Soul LX cost

The MSRP of the entry level 2023 Kia Soul starts at $19,790. This model is powered by a 2,0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine and 6-speed IVT automatic transmission.

Cost of 2023 Kia Soul S

The S trim gets the same powertrain technology as the base LX model, but adds more standard features. Among others, you will get 16-inch alloy wheels, tricot cloth seat trim, forward collision avoidance assist and blind spot collision warning system.

The new Kia Soul S costs $22,290 in the United States.

Cost of Kia Soul GT Line 2023 model year

The GT-Line trim level features a sportier exterior look compared to other Soul siblings.

While it boasts a sportier design, hotter-looking 18-inch alloy wheels and flat-bottomed steering wheel, it is still powered by the same 2,0L 4-cylinder engine as other Souls in the range.

The previously available 1,6L turbo engine available in Soul GT-Line has been dropped for the 2023 model year.

The 2023 Kia Soul GT-Line costs $23.390.

2023 Kia Soul EX cost

The Soul EX sits a top of the range and has a starting price of $24,090. It comes loaded with a wide number of safety features and employs an IVT automatic transmission, coupled to the 147-horsepower 2,0L 4-cylinder engine.

Destination charge

The above-mentioned prices of the 2023 Kia Soul do not include the cost of shipping to your local Kia dealer. There’s a destination charge of $1.295 that you need to include in the total cost of this funky Kia crossover!

2023 Kia Soul model year changes

There have been some pretty big changes made to the Kia Soul model range for the 2023 model year.

First, the Soul has received a revised exterior with most of the styling tweaks being done to the front end of the vehicle. Among others, the vehicle now also incorporates two sets of newly designed alloy wheels.

As far as the engines go, the carmaker axed the 1,6L turbo engine from the range with a 147-horsepower 2,0L 4-cylinder unit now being the sole choice in the Soul model line-up.

Last but not least, some major changes have also been made to the trim levels. The range topping Turbo and X-Line trims have been dropped for the 2023 model year.
