The two available 4-cylinder engines in the 2022 Kia Soul do not only differ by the displacement, but also by the type.

The standard 2.0L utilizes the Multi-Port Injection (MPI) technology, while the 1.6L turbo unit features twin-scroll turbocharger and gasoline direct injection (GDI) technology.

There is a difference in performance, too. The 2.0L engine in the Soul crossover generates 147-horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, while the more powerful Soul 1,6L turbo generates 201-horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque.
