There are a pair of different engine options available with the Kia Seltos. The base engine is the 2.0-liter 4-cyliner, which comes standard on the LX entry level trim, as well as the S and EX trim levels.

The base 2.0-liter engine on the Kia Seltos delivers 146 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, while the more potent turbo engine on the SX delivers 175 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque.
When it comes to the available transmissions, there are also two different options available. The intelligent variable transmission (IVT) comes with the 2.0-liter model, while the other transmission, the 7-speed DCT is exclusive to the 1.6-liter turbo engine.
